Today was my day off but I had no phone so I could not call anyone especially Angie. I miss her so much. And Jose I miss him every time he is away. Today I had really had nothing more to do than to do what I LOVE to do.

I read CARMEN by BIZET and it was my first time reading it in french and the first thought that crossed my mind as soon as I finished reading Carmen, was that Carmen is such a flousie, flousie FLIRT! She loves everything that moves! GOODNESS GRACIOUS, good thing she did not see the bullfighting, she would be throwing red flowers at every bull prancing. But now that I come to think of it, we all, at LEAST girls, have some Carmen in us. Better yet, we should have some of these appealing qualities. I mean she is such a free spirited character and even though she loved men for no longer than 6 months, she was filled with tenderness and did not lie. That is what I love about her she did not lie about her feelings and said what was on her mind. She told Don Jose she did not love him anymore; she stayed true to herself and was never with a guy for pity. I disliked that she ACCEPTED her "FAITH."


We create our own paths. If we were to accept anything in life it should be the ability to CREATE rather than ACCEPT. I can create a better life for me than accept the struggles I will or have to deal with. Each day I can chose to be productive for my self and for others around me.



I would LOVE to see this play in a theater.


I love Bizet I will look into his other works.
